todays class used a very interesting way to describe waves. i like the fact that we didnt just read about them, we actually were able to build one and watch it work:)
I thought the activity today was fun. The waves looked really cool & pretty. I saw how different movements caused the speed to be different. The wave machine, in my opinion, was a good demonstration of waves.
I learned a lot about wavelengths today. The gummies smelled like menthol and I wasn't too hot about that but this is a fun little thing to do with my brother and sister when they get bored while teaching them something.
Today's class was very interesting, we used sticks, gummy candies, and duck tape to create a wave machine. I touched the wave machine and felt a vibration almost as strong as a cell phones vibration. It was very cool and pretty, and also hands on which is good for me because I am a kinestetic learner. The video also explained very well what exactly was happening. class was BUENO!
I like the way we learned about waves and their patterns. Rather than just reading about waves, I was able to visually grasp the concept of waves an how they change. Seeing things is a better tehnique to me, so I really enjoyed this class
Wave demonstration was cool but the candy was weird. We didn't do this demonstration when I first learned waves so it was cool to get another perspective on it. -Randi Williams
This lesson was a very interesting and also semi- tasty experiment. Its not usual one can find both in science. Although i already knew a little about Waves i dint know that the wavelength doesn't speed up because of how hard one jerks it but how heavy it is.
Today's class was pretty fun! The wave demonstration was pretty cool. Its nice to watch what we usually read in text books and have a clear concise manner. I'd like to learn more about wave lengths and the factor that manipulate their behavior.
Today was very fun and interesting. We created our very own wave machine using sticks, gummies and tape. We discussed how it was related to science. I really enjoy hands on activities so I enjoyed today's class

I liked today's class. It was fun; I like how we learned about wavelengths with the Gummy Activity. It was very different.
ReplyDeleteThe project completed today was very insightful. I enjoyed the fact that we were able to be hands-on with the lesson.

ReplyDeleteThis day was really cool, seeing the waves go through the gummies. Then I ate some ^_^ yumm.
