  1. Well I know that as far as units frequency and speed are different. Frequency is 1/sec and speed is m/sec. So they're not the same, but they are directly related the difference is that speed is a traveling quantity and take n over a distance while frequency can be taken from one spot.

  2. frequency and speed are two different things. frequency referes to the amount of waves created over a period of time while speed refers to the distance traveled by a wavelength over a period of time. thought they are relateable, they shouldnt be interchangeable terms.

  3. Is frequency the same as speed?

No, frequency and speed are not the same. Frequency is the repeating time per minute. Speed is traveling quantity.

  4. Frequency refers to how many waves are made per time interval. Speed refers to how fast a wave is moving, or the distance traveled. So obviously they are not the same because one is how many are made per second and the other is how fast. However they are related because wave speed= wave length x frequency.

  5. Speed and frequency are different. As shown by our experiment we can change the frequency of a wave without the speed changing. In order to obseve an increase in speed we had to remove gummiesbfrom one half of the machine. This example shows that the two properties are not the same. Also in order to find the speed of the wave, you would have to multiply the length of the wavelength by the frequency.

  6. Frequency and speed are not the same. Frequency is the amount of waves made within a given time period. While speed is the distance traveled per unit time.

  7. Frequency and speed are not the same. Frequency is the number of cycles per unit time of a wave. Speed is the rate of motion.

  8. Frequency and speed are different. They are proportional and are related but they are not the same. Frequency is the amount of waves over a period of time while speed is the distance traveled by the wavelength over a period of time

  9. NO, frequency regards how often an event occurs, while speed is the amount of distance you've covered in a certain amount of time. If I had to give an example, I'd say that speed is how fast the car goes while frequency is how many times the wheels turn.

  10. Not at all. Frequency is the amount of waves in a period while Speed is the distance traveled in a set time
